NO GRAVES AS YET (Amateur Sleuth-England) - G+ Perry, Anne – 1st in WWI series Ballantine Books, Hardcover Jospeh Reavley, a Cambridge professor, and his family have their world shattered when their parents are killed in a motor crash. Jospeh’s bother, Matthew, a member of the British secret service, had received a call from their father saying he was coming to London with /5. This is the 4th in Perry's series of 5 books dealing with World War I. She tried to keep two plot lines advancing, but she appears tired in her development, unlike her first three times out. The editing was poor in a few places: she referred often to the "one copy" of the traitorous document John Reavley "found" rather than the TWO copies he /5(8). The only problem is, I think the book is written in real time. It is very slow moving and we never really do learn who was behind the murder of John and Alys Reavley. I shall not be bothering with the other 4 books in the series. Reviewed by Barbara Franchi, August This book has more than one review. Click here to show all. [ Top].
